Demi Moore and Bruce Willis are not staging an intervention for their 25-year-old daughter Tallulah, despite a false tabloid report. The ex-spouses aren’t concerned about their daughter’s well-being. Gossip Cop can correct the baseless story.
“Demi ' Bruce Reunite To Save Their Daughter” reads a dramatic headline in the latest issue of NW. The accompanying article says Tallulah was displaying “erratic behavior” during a recent coffee run in Los Angeles. “Tallulah was waving her arms all over the place, and throwing her head back and laughing maniacally,” a so-called “onlooker” tells the outlet. “To me, it looked like she might have been on something a lot stronger than the iced coffee she was holding.”
It should be noted, there are indeed photos of Tallulah laughing while holding an iced coffee. This is hardly the sign of a person who’s out of control. The 25-year-old model and artist appeared to be on a fun and harmless outing with some friends. The tabloid’s “onlooker” is either mistaken or nonexistent.
Still, another questionable insider insists Tallulah is “on a slippery slope” and dropping weight rapidly. “Demi, Bruce, [and her sisters] Rumer and Scout aren’t happy,” adds the suspicious source. “She’s nothing but a bag of bones – in fact, there’s talking of staging an intervention if she doesn’t start filling out a bit more.”
Here’s what really seems to be happening: Last month, Tallulah and her sister Rumer joined Moore for an interview on Jada Pinkett’s Facebook show Red Table Talk, during which Tallulah opened up about nearly dying from alcohol poisoning when she was 15. The young woman got very candid about her battle with alcohol and subsequent treatment, which included moving back in with her mom. Back in July, Tallulah celebrated five years of sobriety with an Instagram post of a cake that read, “No More Hangover.” NW is exploiting Tallulah’s past issues with nonsense about her needing another intervention. It’s just not the case.
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who tells us the magazine’s report is “absolutely untrue.” Our trusted insider further assures us Tallulah is “thriving, sober and focused on her clothing line.” It should also be noted, Tallulah has always been thin and there’s absolutely nothing to indicate she’s lost any weight recently.
NW also makes up a lot of nonsense about Tallulah’s famous mom, so we’re not surprised by the phony story. In October, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Tom Cruise was begging Moore to become his “Scientology bride.” Prior to that, the magazine threw Moore into a fake love triangle with Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller. This latest article is more fiction.
