BRITAIN'S messiest bedrooms have been revealed – and some of them are a real eyesore strewn with half-eaten takeaways and dirty laundry.
Shocking pictures show festering pizza boxes, piles of dirty clothes and empty sweet wrappers.
Anna Wrigley, from Kendal, Cumbria, took top spot after judges were impressed by the carnage on show in her room
Sam Thomas was runner up but is now considering moving out to stay with her boyfriend
And third spot went to Melek Gill who's room looks more like a storage space
Number four goes to Philip Burch who says he struggles to walk around his bed
Others show reams of clutter on shelves, window sills and desks and piles of unmade bedding.
The league of shame was unveiled after a competition by bed and mattress specialist Bed SOS.
The Darlington-based firm searched the county high and low for the nation’s most dishevelled pads and the top ten are now on show.
Anna Wrigley, from Kendal in Cumbria, was crowned the competition winner after sharing her bombsite bedroom, strewn with clothes and half-eaten pizza.
Bed SOS said: “Katie Price's house may be a mess, but how does it stand up in comparison with the rest of the UK?
"We have gone in search of the UK's messiest bedrooms and the public did not disappoint.

"Your bedroom is meant to be a place of relaxation and rest; arguably the comfiest area in your house, but it seems that keeping it clean and tidy is not a priority for everyone.
“We searched the country high and low for the messiest bedrooms via a photo competition, and can reveal the 10 most untidy rooms.
“Anna Wrigley, from Kendal in Cumbria, was crowned our competition winner after sharing her carnage of a room, featuring a half-eaten takeaway from the night before. She received one of our lovely new beds as a prize.”
