This is very smart… hopefully more elderly people are following Mary Jo Houghton's lead!
The 85-year-old San Diego resident — who is Kris Jenner's mom, and Kim Kardashian West's grandma — has been in self-isolation due to coronavirus concerns for over a month now, according to Kim. Kim spilled the beans on MJ's self-quarantine with a social media video posted over the weekend. In it, the 39-year-old opened up to fans about how her grandma loves beignets, and a surprise care package full of 'em might be just the thing she needs in quarantine!
Kim explained it all on camera, saying to her fans and followers (below):
“[Grandma] loves beignets so much and she has been self quarantined in her place — really — for over a month now. She’s been really cautious. So I’m so excited to send these to her specifically, I’m going to surprise her."
And as you can see with the clip (below), those beignets look phenomenal:
What do U think about all this coronavirus quarantine drama, Perezcious readers?! What a world we live in… but here's to senior citizens and those most vulnerable continuing to self-isolate to preserve their health — and here's to all of us continuing to practice social distancing! We're all in this together, after all!
