One of the contestants of the very first premier of the CBS' Big Brother, Cassandra Waldon has been reported dead after being involved in a car crash. She died on September 25 after sustaining a head injury last August during a car accident in Rome.
The 56-year-old was living and working in Italy as communications director for the International Fund for Agricultural Development, a United Nations agency.
'She never regained consciousness before her death,' a source said. 'Her funeral will be held next weekend in her home state of Maryland.'
'Thank you for bringing your intelligence, warmth and wisdom to the Big Brother house Season 1. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers. May God Bless your soul.' big brother host Julie Chen Moonves posted in tribute to Cassandra on Friday.
Rest in peace Cassandra.
